Columbia Basin Water Hub

The Columbia Basin Water Hub is a central place for open water data, scientific research, and collaboration in the Canadian Columbia Basin. The Water Hub includes participants from stewardship groups, First Nations, governments, industry, and academia in a collaborative that coordinates water data collection, analysis, sharing and storage for the future. The collaborative is harnessing the power of big data, data analytics, cross-sector partnerships, and openness in working towards ensuring that there will be water resources, and their associated ecosystems, for future generations. The water Hub is an open data system, following FAIR principles (findable, accessible, inter-operable, re-useable). Data sharing agreements provide the structure for governing how data is stored and used. Data can be accessed by text and geospatial queries.
